If your audience includes insurance agents, agency owners or professionals who help agencies grow, an insurance affiliate offer should be easy to explain. Who are you referring? What activity earns a commission? When does that commission become eligible for payment?
I want those answers to be clear before you share RingFunnel with anyone.
The current RingFunnel affiliate program pays approved partners for qualifying call activity from eligible buyers they refer. Under the current flat-rate program, you can earn $2.50 per qualifying call, plus $600 for every complete block of 1,000 qualifying calls in an Eastern calendar month. Approval, attribution, verification and your accepted terms apply. These are commission rules, not a promise of income.
This guide explains the earning model, practical ways to introduce RingFunnel to a relevant audience, and what to check before promoting an offer.
First, understand which kind of insurance affiliate offer you are sharing
An insurance affiliate search can lead to very different business models. Some offers involve referring consumers for insurance quotes. Others involve publishers generating consumer phone calls for a buyer. RingFunnel’s program described here is a buyer-referral program: you introduce insurance professionals who may want to purchase calls.
You do not earn the buyer’s per-call price. You are not being paid the publisher’s rate for supplying consumer calls. Your affiliate commission follows the separate referral-program rules.
If you already generate consumer calls and want to supply traffic, contact RingFunnel about that separate relationship. Do not send traffic or assume publisher rates, approved sources or campaign access from the affiliate offer.
For buyer referrals, start with professionals whose needs match the available insurance call programs. Product, state, source and commercial availability still need confirmation. A referral link does not reserve inventory or activate a buyer’s routing.
Two ways commissions can grow under the current program
1. Earn a base commission on qualifying referral calls
Each qualifying affiliate referral call earns $2.50 under the current accepted flat-rate terms. Eligible activity can come from multiple buyers you refer.
A purchase by itself does not earn a commission. The call must actually be delivered, valid, paid by the buyer and payable under the applicable buyer and supplier agreements, with the required collection, identity and call evidence verified. Refunds, credits, disputes, fraud and duplicate calls can delay or reverse commissions.
For each eligible new buyer, the earning period lasts 12 months from that buyer’s first paid order. Repeat purchases during that period may produce additional qualifying calls. They do not restart the 12-month clock.
2. Earn the monthly qualifying-call bonus
The current program adds $600 for each complete block of 1,000 qualifying calls in an Eastern calendar month. Qualifying counts combine across your eligible referred buyers.
These hypothetical examples show the calculation before any later valid adjustment:
| Qualifying calls in one month | Base commission | Monthly bonus | Illustrative total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | $250.00 | $0 | $250.00 |
| 999 | $2,497.50 | $0 | $2,497.50 |
| 1,000 | $2,500.00 | $600 | $3,100.00 |
| 1,001 | $2,502.50 | $600 | $3,102.50 |
| 2,000 | $5,000.00 | $1,200 | $6,200.00 |
These are arithmetic examples, not typical results, earnings forecasts or amounts guaranteed to be paid. Zero qualifying calls earn zero commission.
Partial bonus blocks do not carry into the next month. For example, 999 qualifying calls in one month and one in the next do not create a 1,000-call monthly bonus. Each month is counted separately using America/Detroit calendar months. Late verification is assigned to the original delivery month under the program rules, and reversals can change that month’s base commission and bonuses.
Existing partners should check their accepted version. The current flat-rate terms apply prospectively after the required acceptance; previously recorded calls retain their applicable policy. There is no retroactive bonus for milestones already completed under an earlier policy. Read the full affiliate terms for the controlling details.
Five practical ways to introduce RingFunnel to the right audience
These are different promotional approaches, not five separate commission programs. Choose the channels you already understand and where sharing a relevant commercial recommendation is permitted.
Publish a useful guide for insurance agents
A website article can help agents compare inbound calls, live transfers and other acquisition options. Explain what buyers should verify rather than claiming one product will work for everyone. Link readers to the inbound versus live-transfer guide and the current offer through your approved referral link.
Add original value: a comparison process, questions you genuinely use, or a clearly labeled hypothetical planning example. Do not invent a customer success story or claim firsthand results you have not experienced.
Include a relevant resource in your newsletter
If your subscribers are insurance professionals and your newsletter permits commercial recommendations, explain why the resource fits that audience. A focused section on planning a call test is more useful than an unexplained signup link.
Put a clear commission disclosure beside the recommendation. Keep current pricing and availability separate from your affiliate earnings; an affiliate rate is not a buyer quote.
Teach through videos, podcasts or educational sessions
Creators and educators can explain how agents prepare staffed hours, licensed states and a limited test before buying calls. The call-test measurement guide gives readers a framework for evaluating their own results.
Explain your affiliate relationship in the content itself as appropriate for the format, not only in a hidden description. Avoid implying that completing a purchase guarantees a sale, a conversion rate or a profit.
Make appropriate introductions within an agency network
Agency owners, coaches, consultants and IMO/FMO organizations may know professionals researching call programs. Share the relevant information where permitted, give the person room to evaluate it, and let RingFunnel confirm the specific offer.
Do not promise buyer terms on RingFunnel’s behalf or present yourself as a RingFunnel employee. A useful introduction is enough; there is no need to collect consumer records or confidential client information for this referral activity.
Share helpful answers in professional communities
Where community rules allow affiliate recommendations, answer the actual question first. Explain the relevant program and disclose your relationship. Avoid repetitive link posting, unsolicited bulk messages and claims that everyone will earn money.
Approved partners should use the current promotional material in their dashboard and respect opt-outs and channel rules. The FTC’s disclosure guidance explains why a financial relationship should be clear and hard to miss alongside an endorsement.
How referral attribution works
Under the current terms, the first valid, consented referral visit creates a 90-day attribution window. The new customer must place their first paid order within that window.
Existing customers, self-referrals and duplicate customer identities are ineligible. A later affiliate link cannot overwrite the first valid attribution. Optional advertising-consent choices and blocked tracking may prevent attribution, so a click or a verbal introduction alone is not proof that a referral has been recorded.
If attribution looks wrong, ask for help through the program’s support contact rather than promising a commission before verification.
When are affiliate commissions paid?
Eligible balances receive weekly manual payout review after a 30-day verification hold, subject to a $25 USD minimum. Smaller balances carry forward. The hold is measured from verified accrual, and reinstated commissions begin a new hold.
RingFunnel arranges the payment method with the approved partner before the first payment. Weekly review does not guarantee a particular bank-arrival date. A payout approval or export is not proof that payment has been sent, and unresolved disputes can hold the affected amounts.
Automatic affiliate payouts are not currently enabled. Check the payout terms before planning around commission timing.
What about commissions on software minutes and subscriptions?
The published policy describes a future software affiliate program with 5% of gross minute revenue and 5% of gross monthly subscription revenue from qualifying referrals, once the software is complete and that program launches.
Those software commissions are not active now and do not accrue before launch. The effective date, calculation details and eligibility rules will be published before activation. Planned automatic payouts also remain inactive; their schedule has not been confirmed. Do not promote these future commissions as an offer available to earn today.
Before you apply
Ask yourself four questions:
- Does my audience include insurance professionals who could genuinely benefit from researching call programs?
- Can I describe buyer referrals accurately without confusing them with insurance-policy sales or publisher traffic payments?
- Am I comfortable with attribution checks, the verification hold, potential adjustments and manual payout review?
- Will I disclose the referral relationship and follow the rules of the channels I use?
If that fits your audience, apply to become a RingFunnel affiliate. Applications are reviewed, and your personal referral link activates after approval. Review the current terms before accepting and promoting the program.
A relevant introduction starts with trust. Give people useful information, explain the offer honestly, and let verified qualifying activity determine the commission.
