Choose the insurance product first
A unified buying process should still preserve the differences between products. Your licensed footprint, team capability and written program terms determine the right starting point.
Final expense and life
Plan inbound conversations around final-expense coverage and your team’s serviceable markets.
Medicare
Define product scope, enrollment assessment and staffing for Medicare conversations.
ACA and under-65 health
Separate Marketplace interest from other health products and confirm the intended audience.
Auto insurance
Match quote requests to licensed markets, carrier appetite and agent availability.
Then identify the source and delivery model
Search, social and connected TV are traffic channels. Consumer-initiated inbound and live transfer are call-delivery models. Both the source and the handoff matter, so request them as separate fields in a proposal. Do not treat an inbound call as a purchased contact record that requires cold dialing.
A practical buying brief
- List the product, licensed states and team capabilities.
- Set staffed hours, time zone, daily caps and concurrent answer capacity.
- Identify the permitted sources and any downstream-routing restrictions.
- Confirm the complete billable event, including timer start and qualifying conditions.
- Agree on rates, payment timing, duplicates, adjustments and dispute deadlines.
- Set a bounded test and a review point before increasing the run.
Separate commercial agreement from operational readiness
A quote is not a reserved source, payment is not a configured routing endpoint, and a saved buyer record is not verified access. Follow the setup and review workflow through confirmed routing and reporting. Keep someone responsible for pause requests and customer-service questions during the run.
Compare the full economics
A lower per-call rate can have a different timer or qualification standard. Compare pricing and billability on matching definitions, then reconcile delivered calls, answered calls and your actual sales outcomes. A 90-second threshold is not proof of a sale or suitability.
Use the vendor evaluation guide and worksheet to record evidence and unresolved questions. Confirm current availability and the applicable offer directly before purchasing.
Discuss your call program
Bring your licensed states, product focus, staffed hours, call cap and test budget. We can discuss fit and confirm the available source, pricing and program terms before you commit.
